Cloz Construction Limited was founded in 2024 by Matthew and Mil Lozano Clough.
With over a decade of experience in custom home building, Matthew brings immense expertise in construction, project management and client relations - ensuring each project is executed seamlessly.
Mil, a skilled designer with architectural training and an extensive background in commercial construction. Her expertise in construction management and space planning enables Cloz Construction to design functional and aesthetically stunning homes - tailored to each client’s needs.

Matthew Lozano Clough
President & Co-Founder
Matthew grew up on the Sunshine Coast, BC, where his passion for building and the outdoors began early. He spent over a decade racing mountain bikes, which taught him invaluable lessons in work ethic and personal growth.
His passion for building took shape early, crafting many sheds and bike jumps on his parents property while growing up. During high school, Matthew worked summers alongside his father on renovations and new home builds, eventually apprenticing under him and developing a strong foundation in residential construction.
After earning his Red Seal in Carpentry in 2019, Matthew advanced through a reputable custom home building company, taking on roles as foreman and site supervisor. He led complex, multi-year projects across the Sunshine Coast and West Vancouver, gaining extensive experience in large-scale, high-end residential construction. Throughout this time, he became known for running organized, efficient job sites with a strong emphasis on safety, craftsmanship, and a positive work environment.
With a clear vision for a better client experience, Matthew founded Cloz Construction in 2024 alongside his wife, Mil Lozano Clough. Together, they are committed to exceptional craftsmanship, clear communication, and strong client relationships—ensuring every home reflects the highest standards of quality and design.

Mil brings a well-rounded design perspective, supported by an interior design diploma, an associate certificate in construction management, and a background in architecture. With over 10 years of experience in high-rise construction, she contributes valuable expertise in design coordination, project management, and estimating—helping guide projects with clarity from planning through construction.
